The Parker A. Boswell Scholarship
The Parker A. Boswell Scholarship provides college scholarship awards to high school student athletes who will pursue their higher education at a 2- or 4-year college or university.
Successful applicants will have a record of both strong academic performance and community service. Additionally, while applicants must be high school student athletes, they are not required to be playing at the college level.

Complete Application Form
This online application form will capture your personal information & have a place for you to upload your statement, community service record(s) & transcript
Submit An Official Transcript
You will need to upload a digital copy of your official high school transcript, which should reflect your cumulative GPA and grades for at least the last 2 years.

GPA requirement: 3.0
Documentation of Community Service
You must upload proof of 24 hours of community service. Applicant must provide a letter from the host organization, sponsoring group, coach or school leader.

*Applicants who participate in PPG's Annual Day of Service (April 2023) & other PPG Serve events will be given preference.
​
Hours must have been earned between May 2022 and April 2023.
.Submit Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
At least one recommendation must be from a teacher or school official.

(2) One Page Statements
1. A one-page, 250 words or less, statement of your qualifications and how this scholarship will assist you in reaching your educational and career goals.

2. A one-page, 250 words or less, statement on which PPG Pillar you identify with the most, and why.

(PPG Pillars: Compassion, Courage, Creativity, Critical Thinking, Detail Oriented, Developing Others, Empathy, Relationship Building).
2023 Award Details
Applications were due on April 14, 2023.
2023 Award: Six (6) $1,000 scholarships.​
Scholarship were presented at recipient's Senior Awards Day Ceremony.​
Selected applicant will need to provide proof of enrollment at University of choice.
