Compassion

Definition:
Sympathetic is having pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others. It is the feeling that arises when you are confronted with another's suffering and feel motivated to relieve that suffering

Scripture:
God has given us a heart that connects us to each other.

Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Isaiah 30:18 Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.

Key Takeaways:
- People will fall on hard times during their lifetime
- Never give up on them because God doesn’t give up on you
- Don't expect those you help to return the favor but do it out of your kind heart

Prayer:
Dear Lord, we come to you to say thank you. We know that you have given so much compassion to us because you love us. You continue to wrap your arms around us and go before us to shield us from harm. We ask that you forgive us for our sins and continue to lead us on the path of righteousness. In Jesus Name, Amen
